Cursed Child is a Sidearm inside Revered Beacon near the Sester’s Gate / Sester’s Abbey area in Mammon. Start from Sester’s Gate Beacon, follow the lower route to Revered Beacon, use solid cover to avoid the sweeping golden light, climb toward the central tower, and break the light source to make the Sidearm collectible.

Cursed Child is obtained in Revered Beacon in Mammon.

Use Sester’s Gate Beacon as the clearest route anchor. The dungeon’s main obstacle is a sweeping / tracking golden light that drains health while you remain exposed.

Once you reach the upper light source and break it, Cursed Child becomes collectible there.

Fast route from Sester’s Gate to Revered Beacon

Section titled “Fast route from Sester’s Gate to Revered Beacon”

From Sester’s Gate:

  1. Go up the northwestern stairs.
  2. Pass the area with the large rolling enemy.
  3. Move onto the western platform.
  4. Drop to the lower ledge near the Bone Gate.
  5. Follow the lower route north past the hammer-wielding enemy.
  6. Watch for the Revered Beacon entrance along this route / on the right.

There is another supported approach from Abbey’s Entrance, but the Sester’s Gate route is enough for this guide.

For wider travel context, see the Beacons and fast travel guide.

The central hazard in Revered Beacon is a sweeping / tracking golden light.

Remaining exposed to the beam drains health.

The practical rule is simple: break line of sight with solid cover, then move again when you have a safe path to the next protected position.

Current route guides also report that the beam can affect enemies, but using that interaction is optional. You do not need it to finish the route.

Work through the dungeon from cover to cover while climbing toward the central tower / upper platform.

Do not try to cross long exposed sections without checking where the beam is. Use solid structures to interrupt line of sight and make the climb in shorter moves.

The objective is to reach the upper light source, not to defeat every enemy in the dungeon.

At the upper platform / central tower, locate the central pillar / brazier / light source.

Attack and break it.

Destroying that source shuts off the golden-light hazard and completes the core Revered Beacon puzzle.

After the light source is broken, Cursed Child becomes collectible in the same upper area.

Pick it up to add the Sidearm to your collection.

The Sidearms guide tracks the complete eight-Sidearm roster, while the Tarforge guide covers the station that unlocks Sidearm enhancement.

Cursed Child is a short-range control / pushback Sidearm.

That is enough to describe its role here. This location guide does not assign exact damage, range, Resolve costs, knockback values, or a best build.

Is Cursed Child one of the eight Sidearms?

Section titled “Is Cursed Child one of the eight Sidearms?”

Yes.

The nearby Black Needle guide also uses Sester’s Gate as a route anchor, but it leads to a different dungeon and a primary spear, not the Cursed Child pickup.
