Mortal Shell 2 Seedbearer's Scripture: How to Get It + All 3 Gland Locations

Collect the three quest Glands — Depleted Gland, Thawed Gland, and Faded Gland — enable Night Mode, then offer all three at the top of the Forgotten Tower to receive Seedbearer’s Scripture.

Zmey can apply Cosmic Disease during the final encounter; Cosmic Disease interferes with your Shell and can significantly disrupt combat flow. Seedbearer’s Scripture is the direct preparation tool for that status: active use cures Cosmic Disease and grants 50% Cosmic Disease Mitigation for 30 seconds, while simply carrying it gives a passive 15% Cosmic Disease Mitigation. Start at Nameless Pass Beacon and follow these steps:

1. Continue toward the rock where Ruk sits.
2. Drop to the lower rock surface (do not proceed upward).
3. Turn back toward the torch at the end of this lower route.
4. Look for a bone arm near the torch and collect the Depleted Gland from it.

The Depleted Gland is not a standalone item — it is one of the three quest Glands required (Depleted Gland, Thawed Gland, Faded Gland) to obtain Seedbearer’s Scripture. This pickup does not require a mandatory boss kill along the described route.

Follow the Corrupt Gate route near the Abbey / Valley of the Revered until you find a narrow side opening leading into a chamber. Landmarks inside the chamber:

• A statue at the far end
• Martyr’s Ash pickups around or near pillars
• A stone pedestal beside the statue

The Thawed Gland sits on that pedestal.

From Citadel Annex Beacon:

1. Move or drop into the lower central area instead of continuing upward.
2. Reach the central space and look for a well-like stone structure ringed with candles.
3. Collect the Faded Gland from inside that candle-ringed structure.

No specific enemy clear is required by these route descriptions; follow the landmarks above to find each Gland.

Use Sester’s Beacon as the route anchor for the Forgotten Tower approach.

1. From Sester’s Beacon travel west toward the separate island with the Forgotten Tower.
2. Enter the tower and climb to the upper floor.
3. Find the corpse with the Make Offering interaction and offer Depleted Gland, Thawed Gland, and Faded Gland.
4. Complete the offering sequence to receive Seedbearer’s Scripture.

Also note: the Forgotten Tower is the same location that contains the weapon pickup covered by the Axatana guide, but the Gland offering is a separate interaction.

• Make Offering not appearing: confirm Night Mode is active and that all three named Glands are still in your inventory.
• Taking the wrong route: follow the exact route anchors and landmarks above (Nameless Pass, Abbey-side Corrupt Gate route, Citadel Annex) — the Glands are not Revered Glands and will not show up on Revered-specific checks.

• Requirement: You must have all three quest Glands — Depleted Gland, Thawed Gland, and Faded Gland — to proceed with the offering.
• Night Mode: The offering at the Forgotten Tower only works during Night Mode; if it is daytime, the upper interaction will not accept the offering.
• What the message means: “Insufficient Materials” indicates that one or more of the three required Glands is missing from your inventory. The offering cannot be completed until you have the full set and the game is in Night Mode.

• Active use: cures Cosmic Disease and grants 50% Cosmic Disease Mitigation for 30 seconds.
• Passive effect: 15% Cosmic Disease Mitigation.
