The Forgotten Crossbow is a Sidearm inside Flooded Village in Fainweald. Start from Blackridge Pass Beacon, find the boarded stone arch leading into the dungeon, descend into the village, collect the Damp Key from the rear section, then backtrack to the locked room and claim the Crossbow.
Where is the Forgotten Crossbow?
Section titled “Where is the Forgotten Crossbow?”The Forgotten Crossbow is behind a locked door inside Flooded Village.
The door requires the Damp Key, which is found deeper in the same dungeon. This makes the route a simple two-part objective:
- reach the lower village and find the Damp Key
- return to the upper locked room and use it

How to enter Flooded Village from Blackridge Pass
Section titled “How to enter Flooded Village from Blackridge Pass”Use Blackridge Pass Beacon as the practical route anchor and travel northwest toward the Flooded Village entrance.
Look for a boarded stone arch.
Break the boards, then use the arch / viewing angle to reveal or unblock the stone-building entrance beyond it.
Enter and continue until a metal gate stops your progress.

How to open the metal gate inside the dungeon
Section titled “How to open the metal gate inside the dungeon”At the blocked gate, check the left side of the room.
Break the crates there to reveal a wall plate / button, then use it to open the gate.
Continue forward and take the elevator down into the Flooded Village.
The locked Crossbow room is part of the upper route you will return to after obtaining the key.
Where to find the Damp Key
Section titled “Where to find the Damp Key”Explore toward the rear / back-left section of the flooded village.
Look for an elevated house with torches near its entrance. The Damp Key is around that house, on the porch / near a brazier or container.
You do not need a more precise object description than that: use the elevated house and torches as your landmark, then check the immediate porch area for the key.
How to return to the locked Crossbow room
Section titled “How to return to the locked Crossbow room”Once you have the Damp Key, backtrack toward the earlier scaffolding / upper section of Flooded Village.
Return to the locked door you passed on the way down.
Use the Damp Key to open it.
