Sariel the Endless is tied to the Chamber of Becoming route from Silent Steps Beacon in southern / southeastern Mammon. Progress through Sariel’s outer encounter, enter the Chamber behind the large statue, then destroy all four revival tablets in the final arena so Sariel can be defeated permanently. After the fight, interact with the nearby Unknown Shell and complete Sariel’s Memory to unlock the Shell.

Use Silent Steps Beacon as the main route anchor for Sariel.

The route leads from Silent Steps toward an outer Sariel encounter and then into the Chamber of Becoming.

Sariel appears more than once along this progression, but this guide does not force a disputed total encounter count. The important distinction is between the outer route and the final Chamber arena where the revival mechanic must be solved.

Start at Silent Steps Beacon in southern / southeastern Mammon.

Use the nearby Bone Gate / launch route to reach the upper area where Sariel’s outer encounter takes place.

Advance that encounter and continue until access opens or becomes available behind the large statue. That route leads into the Chamber of Becoming.

After progressing the outer Sariel encounter, move behind the large statue and continue into the Chamber.

Keep following the interior route until you reach the final arena.

This is the point where simply reducing Sariel’s health is not enough: the four revival markers must also be dealt with.

Sariel’s revivals in the final arena are sustained by four stone tablets / gravestones / revival markers.

As long as the revival system is still active, defeating Sariel does not end the encounter permanently.

The solution is to destroy all four markers.

The four revival tablets can be destroyed in any order.

You do not need a numbered sequence. Focus on breaking all four before Sariel’s final defeat.

Once all four are gone, Sariel can be defeated permanently and the Chamber reward sequence can continue.

After Sariel is permanently defeated, the Clockwork Scythe is obtained in the reward sequence.

A nearby Unknown Shell is a separate Sariel reward. Interact with it to trigger Sariel’s Memory, then complete the Memory / inhabit prompt to register Sariel the Endless as a playable Shell.

Defeating the boss alone is not the full Shell-unlock step; do not leave without interacting with the Unknown Shell.

For the weapon route itself, use the Clockwork Scythe guide.

What else should you collect before leaving?

Section titled “What else should you collect before leaving?”

The Chamber of Becoming route has three distinct rewards worth separating:

  • Sariel’s Shell — unlocked through the Unknown Shell / Memory sequence
  • Clockwork Scythe — the primary weapon tied to the Sariel reward sequence
  • Caged Hystrix — a separate Sidearm pickup farther along the exit route

Caged Hystrix does not simply come with the Sariel reward. Use the Caged Hystrix guide before leaving the dungeon if you want the Sidearm as well.

The Sidearms guide tracks the full launch Sidearm roster.

On the Silent Steps → Chamber of Becoming route in southern / southeastern Mammon.

Use Silent Steps Beacon.

Four revival tablets / markers in the final arena sustain the revival mechanic.

Four.

Do the tablets have to be broken in order?

Section titled “Do the tablets have to be broken in order?”

No. They can be destroyed in any order; all four must be destroyed before the permanent defeat.

Does defeating Sariel automatically unlock the Shell?

Section titled “Does defeating Sariel automatically unlock the Shell?”

No. After the fight, interact with the nearby Unknown Shell and complete Sariel’s Memory / inhabit sequence.

The route contains three distinct rewards: Sariel’s Shell, Clockwork Scythe, and Caged Hystrix.
