Tiel the Acolyte is found southeast of Widow’s Overlook Beacon, in the wider Martyr’s Tomb / Ritual Grounds direction. Look for a large tree and wooden enclosure, then find the shallow grave marked by two torches. Interacting with Tiel starts the Rash Memory; complete it by entering the nearby building through a side window and collecting the flask from the desk.
Where is Tiel in Mortal Shell 2?
Section titled “Where is Tiel in Mortal Shell 2?”Start from Widow’s Overlook Beacon and travel generally southeast.
Use the wider Martyr’s Tomb / Ritual Grounds direction to orient yourself. The Great Arbiter can also serve as a route landmark, but this guide does not treat defeating it as a requirement for reaching Tiel.
Near the target area, look for:
- a large tree
- a wooden enclosure or rampart
- two torches marking the grave entrance
Tiel is in the shallow grave beside those landmarks.
Fast route from Widow’s Overlook

- Start at Widow’s Overlook Beacon.
- Head southeast toward the broader Martyr’s Tomb / Ritual Grounds area.
- Use the Great Arbiter area only as a visual landmark if it helps you orient yourself.
- Look for the large tree and wooden enclosure.
- Find the two torches marking the entrance to Tiel’s shallow grave.
- Interact with Tiel to begin the Rash Memory.

How to find Tiel’s grave
Section titled “How to find Tiel’s grave”The grave is easier to identify from its immediate landmarks than from a precise map coordinate.
Once you are in the correct southeast area, search around the large tree and wooden enclosure / rampart. The grave entrance is marked by two torches.
Approach the shallow grave and interact with Tiel. That interaction begins The Rash / Rash Memory.
You do not need this guide to invent a boss gate or exact numerical requirement for the unlock route. The important steps are finding the grave and completing the memory that follows.
How to complete Tiel’s Rash Memory
Section titled “How to complete Tiel’s Rash Memory”After interacting with Tiel, the Rash Memory sends you to a nearby building.
Follow these steps:
- Locate the building near the grave.
- Do not rely on the direct front entry as your route.
- Move around to the side window.
- Enter the building through that window.
- Find the desk inside.
- Collect the flask.
Completing the memory unlocks Tiel the Acolyte as a usable Shell.
What kind of Shell is Tiel?
Section titled “What kind of Shell is Tiel?”Tiel is best described as a mobile, evasive, Shadow-focused Shell.
Compared with more tank-oriented Shell choices, Tiel is the more fragile option. That makes him a natural fit for players who prefer movement, positioning, and an evasive playstyle rather than simply absorbing pressure.

Should you get Tiel or Proxima first?

Choose Tiel first if you are moving southeast from Widow’s Overlook toward the Martyr’s Tomb side of Fainweald and want a mobile, evasive Shell.
Choose Proxima first if you are already following the Blackridge Pass → Shattered Beacon route.
Neither route establishes that one Shell is objectively stronger than the other. You can use the two location guides to choose the shorter detour for your current run.
