The 13 Hidden Paths at a glance
Section titled “The 13 Hidden Paths at a glance”LootMap’s current build 24841087 inventory reports 13 Hidden Paths. “Illusory wall” is the common player term, but the markers include several different interaction types:
- 6 hidden walls
- 2 hidden-wall switches
- 2 markers named Hidden Path
- 2 secret pipes
- 1 breakable ceiling
Eight markers are at or north of Marrow Keep on the Fainweald side. Five are south through the Ruins of Mammon. LootMap is an unofficial map source, so use this as a current inventory of landmarks rather than official developer documentation.
All 13 locations by landmark
Section titled “All 13 locations by landmark”The list uses named pickups, Shell sites, map stations, and doors instead of world coordinates.
Six hidden walls
Section titled “Six hidden walls”- Near the northern map edge, beside a Glimpse.
- In the Wormfish Exchange pocket, beside a Healing Power Chalice.
- Inside Marrow Keep, near the Marrow Keep marker and the Locked Shells.
- Above Genessa’s Shell site, beside a chest.
- North of the deep-south City Map Station, beside a chest.
- West of that City Map Station, near a Lore Book and a bone gate.
Two hidden-wall switches
Section titled “Two hidden-wall switches”- A few steps west of the Crypt Key Door, near a chest and the Tarstones marker.
- Near a coffin and a Lift Call; use the Wormfish Exchange as the route landmark.
Two plain Hidden Path markers
Section titled “Two plain Hidden Path markers”- Southwest of the Forgotten Crossbow and north of the Forest Map Fragment and its map station.
- Northwest of the Chapel Key, near Tiel’s Shell site and a Door marker.
Two secret pipes
Section titled “Two secret pipes”- In the far south, just north of Sariel’s Shell pickup.
- Northeast of Sariel among Galvanic Shard nodes and Stone Statue enemies; the Healing Charge Chalice at Tar Root Gate is nearby.
One breakable ceiling
Section titled “One breakable ceiling”- In the northwestern forest clearing, beside Eredrim’s Shell pickup and a Healing Power Chalice.
How to search without attacking every wall
Section titled “How to search without attacking every wall”- Use the current Hidden Paths inventory as your route reference: LootMap’s Hidden Paths layer lists the 13 markers alongside the chest layer.
- Travel to the named landmark for the marker you want.
- Identify the marker type before interacting. A literal hidden-wall anchor may require testing the suspicious surface, but a switch, pipe, or ceiling needs its own interaction.
- Check the nearby chest, Shell pickup, healing chalice, map station, door, or lore item to confirm you are at the correct landmark.
- Do not rely on explicit coordinates. The current repository has no calibratable world-map coordinate system.
The practical rule is simple: a Hidden Path marker is not proof that every nearby surface is an attackable illusory wall. Treat the six wall anchors separately from the switches, pipes, and breakable ceiling.
Common mistakes
Section titled “Common mistakes”- Attacking every textured wall instead of checking the marker type.
- Ignoring the nearby pickup or map-station landmark that identifies the correct route.
- Counting Devout’s Chalices or unrelated Tarstones as Hidden Paths.
- Mixing the current 13-marker inventory with a different community article that claims 22 secret areas and adds unsupported rewards or hidden bosses.
- Publishing coordinates that the available map evidence does not calibrate.
What happens next
Section titled “What happens next”The Hidden Paths often sit beside other route objectives. Use the Axe & Dagger guide for the Chapel Key context, Healing Upgrades for the chalice anchors, and Map Fragments or Beacons and fast travel for navigation.
